Career Sensitization Outreach Enlightens Students at Graceland College, Moniya

In a bid to empower students with insight and direction, the Editorial CDS group of Akinyele Local Government, in collaboration with the Local Government Inspector, orchestrated a Career Sensitization Outreach at Graceland College, Moniya. This event, designed to steer students towards discovering their purpose and potential career paths, proved to be a profound experience.

The keynote address titled "Career Sensitization Outreach: Discovery of Purpose," delivered by Tofio Busayo, the President of the Editorial CDS, underscored the paramount importance of identifying one's purpose as the bedrock of career fulfillment. With eloquence, Busayo urged students to select their pursuits not under duress, but driven by genuine passion. She further urged them to embrace failure as a stepping stone towards self-discovery, advocating for experimentation and perseverance on the journey to purpose.

Her closing remarks resonated deeply: "Remember, purpose isn't fixed; it's a dynamic process. Trust yourself, explore, and let your heart lead the way."





Following the motivational session, a stimulating quiz engaged the students, reinforcing the day's invaluable lessons. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as three students emerged triumphant, showcasing their newfound knowledge.

  2. Rufai Enoch (JSS 2) - Second Position
  3. Aladesae Temidayo (JSS 3) - Third Position
  4. Dagunduro Anu (JSS 1) - Fourth Position


The event reached its conclusion with heartfelt gratitude expressed by the Proprietor of Graceland College, Hon. (Dr.) Oyedele Sam Olugbenga, towards the Editorial CDS group for their impactful initiative. The Principal, Mr. Ayanyemi Olatunji Daniel, graciously received tokens of appreciation from the CDS group, including waste baskets, biros, and pencils, symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and goodwill.




The Career Sensitization Outreach left an indelible mark on the students, instilling in them a profound understanding of the significance of purpose and self-discovery in shaping their career trajectories. Graceland College extends sincere appreciation to the Editorial CDS group for their unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of its students.

In summation, the event emerged as a triumph, fostering inspiration, guidance, and a newfound sense of direction among the students of Graceland College.
